Our journey to this city encompasses the visit of typical villages, markets and schools; the Kloto craft centre for your carving, batik…. Come dance with us at the rhythm of AKPESSE drums in a village! Back to Lomé.

On the trails of the history of Togo, visit Baguida where Europe started writing the history of the whole nation; Agbodrafo, the Portuguese Porto Seguro and its slave dungeons and Aneho, the first capital city of Togo.
Togo Lake is also a visit to the sacred places of the Guen and Togoville, birthplace of Plakoo Mlapa, signatory of the birth treaty of Togo with the Germans. Back to Lomé.
THE WATERFALL TOUR 2 DAYS
Lomé-Notsé-Atakpamé Atakpamé-Aklowa-Kpalimé-Lomé
Day 1: Lome-Notse-Atakpame
Through typical landscapes and villages, we take you to Notse, home to the Ewe peoples of Togo, Ghana and Benin. Meet king Agokoli, superior king of the Ewe; get into the history of this tribe. Request your pineapple. They produce very delicious ones here. We are in Atakpame for lunch. The blacksmiths’ quarter and Demadeli soap producing village are worth a stop.
Overnight in Atakpame.
Day 2: Atakpame-Aklowa-Kpalime-Lome
Experience this mountainous landscape contrasting with the tropical green forest to Aklowa village from where we depart for the majestic falls. Get refreshed swimming in the natural pool! We drive to Badou for lunch. We visit the Kloto craft center in Kpalime and back to Lome.

HISTORY AND TRADITION TOUR 8 DAYS

Day 1: Arrival in Lome and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Lome-Sio-Lebe
Get into the mood visiting villages on the outskirts of Lome. Meet a traditional ruler. Cruise the Sio River on a dugout canoe. Pick nick. Back to Lome.
Day 3: Lome-Kpalime
In the morning of the third day, explore Lome, the capital city of this country where all wear a smile: the busy fishing harbour, the kingdom of the “Nana Benz “at the Central market, the craft vendors in Art Street, the craftsmen’s village, the national museum at the Independence square and the fetish market at the heart of traditional pharmacopoeia and the voodoo cult.
We leave Lome for Kpalime; travel through villages, markets, schools and plantations. We bid an invitation to dance at the rhythm of AKPESSE drums in a village. Overnight in Kpalime.
Day 4: Kpalime-Kloto-Atakpame:
We start the day with a visit to the artisans of Kloto craft center; carving, batik, macramé being the lot. We continue with an instructive walk through the flora around the Konda village on mount Kloto climaxing in a pick nick by the side of a natural pool. Drive through the Fetish ridges to Atakpame. Overnight.
Day 5: Atakpame-Sokode
We pay an early visit to the blacksmiths’ quarter around Atakpame and Demadeli traditional soap producing village. Anie market will be as luring as usual on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays! Sokode, home to the Kotokoli will welcome us for lunch. Go meet the industrious Kotokoli woman at Sokode market. The “Ouro”, the traditional ruler of Sokode will be pleased to welcome us in his palace in the evening. Overnight Sokode
Day 6: Sokode-Bandjeli-Kara
Through a typical landscape contrasting fields, mounts, villages we get to Bandjeli, a village in the centre of metal works in the northern Togo. The Kokomba, since this is the way they are called will perform the dance of fire and the dance of virgins in your honour. We overnight in Kara in the heart of the Kabyeland.
Day 7: Kara-Koutammakou-Atakpame
The Kabyè, the farmer of the “ stones “ will welcome us in his blacksmith workshop; the Losso will introduce us to the compartments of his habitat. The momentum is Koutammakou, the land to the Tamberma with its fort-like clayey castles spread in the fields. The Batammariba, also called Tamberma will be proud to let you explore his genius the “ Takienta”. We drive to Atakpame we had left two days before. Overnight.
Day 8: Atakpame-Nangbeto-Notse-Lome
Hippopotamuses may be spotted in the Mono River on this early cross we are making at Nangbeto. We drive to Notse, home to the Ewes of Togo, Benin and Ghana. Please request your pineapple here; they are just delicious! We are back to Lome in the late afternoon.
